If students have a Finacial Hold on their account, they will NOT be able to register for classes until the financial hold is cleared. If payment is made in person at the Teller Services Office (see below), students should inform the staff member they have a Hold so it can be removed.

4) HOW REGISTRATION APPTS. ARE DETERMINED:
Registration Appts.: Assigned based on credit earned as a matriculated student at U-M, or at an accredited institution of higher education and accepted as transfer credit.
Advanced Placement & International Baccalaureate exams, and tests: College credit earned through tests taken before matriculation, such as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams, and tests (ACT, SAT, AVL, CLEP, and IMAT) will not be counted for registration priority purposes. *Test credit earned before matriculation will continue to satisfy course prerequisites and count toward degree completion.
